The lads worked really well today, was a hard install for them but we are so very happy with how it has turned out.

I would like to thank you for all your help, when the house is finished in 2 weeks I will send some photos perhaps you can use them on face book or something ?

Tom and his colleague came to fit a chimney liner to an existing woodburner, and give the woodburner a general overhaul, sweep two chimneys and fit a new chimney pot and cowl.  They worked efficiently, to a high standard and paid particular attention to being clean and tidy.  A great job, thank you.  Would recommend and will definitely use again in the future.

Tom at TDC fires fitted a gas stove in my front living room, it is amazing! He came one day and knocked the fireplace out, the plasterer turned up a couple of days later, then Tom was back to fit stove and hearth. Both Tom and the plasterer worked efficiently and cleaned up before they left. Definitely would recommend.

I contacted Tom at Tdc fires regarding a gas fire service. He arrived on time, well mannered and extremely polite. He fixed my fire without needing to order parts.

Having spent a substantial amount of money on a multi-fuel stove you want to make sure you get a professional fitter. Having found Tom through the internet and reading the testimonies of other customers I gave him a call. He spent time with us to understand our requirements and scheduled the work to suit us. (early start and an understanding neighbour !)

The finished result was fantastic !

Please have no hesitation in in employing Tom to fit your stove, chimney lining, or just cleaning your chimney. A proper tradesman who believes in cleaning up after himself… even though the working environment was a semi building site.

After much deliberation and research, we decided on a multifuel stove, but who to fit it? Tom was a true professional, with advice and a lot of time to make sure we got what we wanted. Couldn’t be more delighted with the result!

Tom has installed a multi-fuel stove for us and he has done a great job.

We have a York stone fire surround that we wanted to save and having obtained quotes from other local based businesses, Tom was the only one to say he would “make it his job to save our fire surround”. He did save it and after having installed the stove he re-fitted the surround and it is just perfect! Just how we waned it. Tom and his apprentice worked hard and did a great job.

Would recommend Tom and would use him in the future.

Tom worked hard all day and when he left you would not have known he had been there,the wife was a little worried about the cream carpet but there was not even the need for the hoover.

As my stove was not performing the way it had previously I thought i should probably get my chimney swept so I gave TDC Fires a call and spoke to Tom. He was able to come round on a Sunday afternoon which was convenient for me and he arrived right on time. He swept my chimney which is a a challenge in itself due to the stove I have and the shape of the flue pipe, with 100% effort. I can’t believe how much soot came out. He gave me advise on how to improve the maintenance of my stove and was more than happy to answer all of my questions. He thoroughly cleaned my stove and it looks brand new! Tom is a lovely guy who is a perfectionist and he has made me feel safer in my home . I will definitely recommend him, and I will using him again. Barbara Webb

Tom came and opened up my chimney breast as it had been bricked up by the previous owners. Having exposed the opening back to its original state he fitted a lintel and tidied up the brick work. I then tiled the fire place and called tom back to install my stove. He collected the stove and arrived on time. He fitted the stove and access point to the chimney before proceeding with fitting an oak beam. Tom is very professional, trustworthy and has exceptional attention to detail. He is reliable and his price was very competitive. We are over the moon with our new fire and would certainly recommend tom to friends and family. Many thanks for the hard work and reliability . Great job from TDC Fires, He arrived on time and he did a great job off sweeping my open fire, i called him back a few days later to see if he could service my gas fire and to put two bird guards on, he access isnt great to the chimney so Thomas came round to survey it and went away for a couple of days to devise a safe way to get up to the chimney without forking out the cost off scaffolding.. i will replacing my open fire in a couple of years and i will be calling TDC Fires up to install it for me

Tom fitted a wood burner in my front room and I absolutely love it. He also safely removed and disposed of the existing gas fire. The job was done professionally and expediently at a competitive rate. Tom is friendly, polite and I would highly recommend him.

Tom provides a friendly, efficient service with a very high standard of workmanship. We wanted to reinstate a reproduction fireplace in a chimney breast which had been bricked up and chose Tom because he gave us a competitive quote, and he is Gas Safe and HETAS registered, as well as being a chimney sweep.

Although it wasn’t a straightforward job, it only took two days to complete and Tom was punctual, keeping everything clean and tidy in the process. The fireplace has transformed our living room and we would happily recommend Tom to anyone wanting to install a fireplace or stove.
